RTA designs and delivers customised kitting solutions that match your operations’ sequence and production schedule. Each kit contains pre-inspected, lot traceable components ready for immediate line-side deployment, eliminating incoming inspection delays.

Our kitting service integrates with our sourcing, machining, and warehousing capabilities to provide a single-source solution. UK-based customers benefit from our IPR authorisation, enabling tax-free import of components for kitting and re-export.

process

How it works

01

Kit configuration

We work with your engineering team to design kit contents, packaging, and labelling to match your assembly process.

02

Component sourcing & inspection

All components are sourced, received, and individually inspected before kitting to eliminate line-side quality issues.

03

Kit assembly

Components are scanned into kits to preserve full batch traceability. Items can be drawn from stock, received orders, stored SMI/CMI products, or our assembly services.

04

Verification

First-off kits are subject to first article inspection (FAI) and are supplied with AS9102 compliant documentation. All subsequent kits are audited against associated BoMs, signed off and released with full documentation.

05

Delivery & replenishment

Kits are delivered to your goods receiving location or direct to point of use by agreement. Line-side stock replenishment can be pulled by kanban triggers for automatic replenishment.

06

Additional items

Authorised personnel can obtain additional or replacement items from RTA stock against blanket purchase orders. Usage is billed monthly, along with a report that customers can analyse to understand causes.
